CRYPTID is coming!

Hello, friends! It’s been a while. However, as promised, I did write another book for you: a poetry collection titled Cryptid, forthcoming from University of Akron Press in April 2026!

Cryptid follows the personas of a young woman from the rural South who longs to be abducted by aliens; a female sasquatch who spies on human families and pines for love; a Chinese spy balloon who is heartbroken by being shot down, and others. Through these personas and informed by a host of strange happenings from American folklore from spontaneous human combustion to Mothman, I hope for Cryptid to probe the longing for something more buried at the heart of the lives of women and those deemed “other” by an unjust world.
